SITECH India established by Sakunthala Foundation with the objective of overcoming the critical worldwide demand in this modern era.Quality education is the most powerful tool for socio-economic transformation of a country. It not only eradicates poverty but also ensures equity among people. Therefore, ensuring access to quality education for all, in particular for underprivileged children from disadvantaged and marginalized communities, is of immense significance for overall development of India.

It was to partake in this journey towards quality education, Sakunthala Foundation was set up in 1999. The Foundation implements and supports quality education programs across primary, elementary, senior secondary, university and autonomous professional education levels.

All educational programs initiated by Sakunthala Foundation entail close partnerships with the government, policy makers, corporations, local communities and the general public. These programs aim at holistic development of children making them employable citizens with a deep sense of commitment to society. The intent is to develop a scalable and sustainable education model that can be replicated on a large scale by the government, educational institutions and like-minded organizations.

Sakunthala Foundation is a non-profit organization and has been a pioneer in the field of education since 1999. For over 12 years, it has been at the forefront of Quality Education in India.

Today, over and above the state-of-the-art SITECH, Sakunthala Foundation also manages and runs seperate institutions, training centre and service centres and has evolved into one of the finest educational societies in India.

Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself – John Dewey. This adage is perhaps best reflected in what the late Mr.Chidambaram an accounts assistant, a committed philanthropist and legal luminary strongly believed in – that education is vital for the overall progress of a community…and it is this vision that saw the birth of the Sakunthala Foundation.

In 2008, few committed persons, all sharing the same concern to the cause of education and community development, under the leadership and guidance of Alagappan Karthikeyan formed an association. Karthik Yadav, conceived the idea of a trust, which would provide basic education, health care and train manpower. Thus, was born the Sakunthala Foundation.

Alagappan Karthikeyan, the founder was the prime mover of the Trust. With emphasis being laid on education, the Trust established 4 Offices in major cities Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and in Trivandrum.

Recognised as one of the finest educational institutions in Tamilnadu attracting students from all over India and abroad. All the institutions maintained by the Trust have excellent Digital infrastructural facilities like DVD Courseware, Online Training and Digital Forum and Discussions.

Each is a self-contained campus with all digital & modern facilities for all students, working professionals and Non Resident Indians with 24 hr telephone, Live Chat, Web Call and Ticket Support facilities.

The students are also encouraged to actively participate in our community development projects as the Trust not only believes that students become powerful by knowledge, but also that they become responsible citizens if they have an understanding of human conditions.
