NASA Space Settlement Contest
This annual contest, co-sponsored by NASA Ames and the National Space Society (NSS) is for all students up to 12th grade (18 years old) from anywhere in the world. Individuals, small teams of two to six, and large teams of seven or more are judged separately. Entries are also grouped by age/grade of the oldest contestant for judging. The age groups are 7th and under, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. The grand prize is awarded to the best entry regarless of contestant age. Students develop space settlement designs and related materials.
These are sent to NASA Ames for judgement. Submissions must be received by March 15.

Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible to win a TOEFL scholarship, a student must:
* currently live in the region from where you are applying
* begin undergraduate or graduate study in 2013 at a college or university listed in the TOEFL® Destinations Directory (PDF)
* hold a grade point average of at least 80 or higher on a 100-point scale or a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
* have a valid TOEFL test score
* complete the application form online and upload your transcripts (application link will be available on this site early 2013)
Scholarship award funds for students who will be studying abroad are applied to their tuition fees only after the student has registered with the institution and arrived on campus.
The scholarship application system will open early 2013. Administered by ETS Scholarship & Recognition Programs.

Instituted in 2013, the inspiration for this scholarship lies in the sad coincidence that the Delhi rape victim’s struggle for life ended on the same day that Internshala celebrates its anniversary (29th December).
